GUARDIANSHIP of DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULT CHILD
Advocacy inc. helps parents and relatives obtain legal guardianship for an adult child with a development disability; typically a child they have been caring for since birth.
GUARDIAN ad Litem/YOUTH ATTORNEY
Advocacy inc. provides Guardian ad Litem and Youth Attorney representation for children birth to 18 years old in foster care and dependents of the State of New Mexico.
OUR VISION
Advocacy inc. is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization with the Mission is to protect and promote the interests of
at-risk children by providing low or no cost legal and support services to New Mexico families.
Advocacy inc. was established in 1986 to provide quality legal representation
for children—children who are victims in cases alleging abuse, neglect or abandonment.
For this, Advocacy inc. recruits, trains, supports, and monitors 32 attorneys
as Guardians ad Litem and Youth Attorneys who represent
more than 800 children in the custody of the State of New Mexico
Through the New Mexico Guardianship Project, we provide low or no cost legal services for:
Guardianship, Adoption , Information, Training and Referral.
